Functional Movement Exercise Programs
We use a functional training approach to help our clients and patients achieve their fitness goals, whether they’re beginners or more experienced. This means we adopt a pragmatic approach to corrective strength. This approach strives for two things. First, we focus on natural movements that mimic how the body moves in real-world situations, providing functional strength and endurance that you can use. Second, for those who have fitness or recovery challenges, we use assistive training tools that help you acclimate to these movements. This gradual approach helps prevent both injury and the demotivating effects of being unable to complete some movements.

Many of our clients and patients experience trouble losing weight. This is a frustrating challenge, as many people who have this difficulty exert tremendous effort and willpower on exercise and dieting without seeing results. I’VE TRIED TO GET FIT BEFORE AND IT HASN’T WORKED. WILL THIS BE ANY DIFFERENT?
Yes, if you’re ready to see it through, this will work. And it will be easier for you to see it through than the exercise programs you’ve used before. Our focus is on getting you healthy, and that means thinking through all the ways things can go wrong. We provide flexible remote training with the ability to come in to our office for check-ins, regular e-reminders and lessons to keep fitness top of mind and help motivate you, and complementary habit-building techniques to make maintaining momentum almost effortless. Your plan will start slow and gradually increase in difficulty to build quick wins. If you’re experiencing a challenge, we’ll modify your plan as needed. We treat your fitness as a team sport, and we’re in it to win it.
I’M OVERWEIGHT AND/OR OUT OF SHAPE. WILL I BE JUDGED?
No! This is a supportive environment where people of all stripes come to get healthier. We honor the choice to get healthier no matter who you are or where you are starting from. Our system was made with injury prevention in mind and is the perfect way to rehabilitate. The assisted bands we use have an elastic technology that achieves an amazing range of difficulty levels. By starting with a very assisted routine, you’ll be able to perform full-body exercises with a full range of motion, with less risk of strain on muscles and joints and less risk of falling.
